Perinatal, Postpartum
& Parenting Support

so a few months after this photo was taken, i was sitting on my own therapist’s couch (in sweats and a shirt with spit-up on it) with my new baby…

…when I realized I was out of diapers AND wipes. I looked at my kind therapist through sleep-deprived eyes- half teary, half laughing- and said “I am a hot mess.” She left to get us some wipes from another room while I fished out a 3T/4T pull-up meant for my big toddler- which somehow miraculously fit the baby, held in by the onesie. She gave me the best reframe: “You aren’t a mess, you are resourceful, mama.” Her support meant so much more to me knowing she had been through the sleepless postpartum days while chasing a toddler.

As a mom of two littles, I’ve been there too. I approach parenthood with humor and a lot of grace directed inward. It is my honor to sit with clients in the tough moments, for those trying to conceive, from pregnancy and labor preparation, to processing the birth experience, to the uniqueness of those going through adoption, to the tiring rollercoaster that is the postpartum period and beyond. Not to mention the impact this all has on our sense of self and our relationships! Always queer-friendly, I am a safe space for LGBTQ+ parents and parents-to-be. I want to uplift and validate the many beautiful ways families are created.

I offer positive, respectful, gentle parenting insights that are evidence-based and attachment-supportive for fellow parents. I am a member of Postpartum Support International, and I have completed all pre-exam requirements for a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). It is my calling to lift up fellow parents during this absolutely transformative time.
